A Lennox AC installation in Las Vegas typically runs $3,500 – $7,500 for a complete system, depending on the model line, your home’s square footage, and ductwork condition. We schedule most Lennox installs within 3 to 7 days of your free estimate. As an independent Lennox service provider, Cold Harbour Heating and Air Las Vegas writes the price down before any work starts, and every install carries the 365-Day Done Right Promise in writing.
This page is for Las Vegas homeowners who already own a Lennox system or are considering one, and who want a straight answer on what installation actually costs, which lines hold up in the Mojave heat, and how we handle the job from the first phone call to the final walkthrough. Call (725) 726-3813 any time. A live person picks up.
How Lennox Products Fail – and How We Fix Them
- Signature Series (XC25/XC21) variable-capacity compressor faults. These units run at extremely low speeds for efficiency, but Las Vegas dust and 115-degree afternoons push the inverter boards harder than most climates. When the compressor throws a fault code, it’s often not the compressor itself, it’s the board or a voltage drop from a 12-year-old capacitor. We diagnose the board before recommending replacement. Half the time the compressor is fine.
- Elite Series (EL18/EL296) evaporator coil leaks. Lennox’s all-aluminum coils leak less than the old copper ones, but we still see pinhole leaks in the EL line after 7 to 10 years of desert duty, especially in Summerlin and Henderson homes with hard water that rides the condensate line. We pressure-test with nitrogen before quoting any repair, so you’re not paying for a coil you don’t need.
- Merit Series (ML14/ML196) blower motor failures. The single-speed PSC motors in Merit units are cheaper up front but wear out faster in Las Vegas because they run at full speed every cycle. When the blower quits, we quote both the OEM replacement and a quality aftermarket ECM motor upgrade. The upgrade costs more that day, but it draws less power and runs quieter for the rest of the system’s life.
- Lennox iComfort thermostat communication errors. The communicating thermostats on Signature systems occasionally drop the connection to the outdoor unit after a monsoon-season power flicker. We re-flash the firmware and re-pair the devices before touching any hardware. Most companies replace the stat first. We don’t.
- Drain pan and condensate issues across all lines. Lennox pans are shallow by design. In a Las Vegas summer the evaporator works so hard that a slightly off-level install or a clogged trap floods the pan and trips the float switch. We check static pressure and drainage slope on every install, because a pan that overflows once will do it again next July.

Our Lennox AC Installation Process
Every Lennox job we do in Las Vegas follows the same six steps, written down before we touch a tool:
- 1
Call and schedule. A live person answers, day or night. We set a firm arrival window, not an eight-hour maybe.
- 2
Load calculation and walkthrough. Victor Mancini or a senior tech measures your home’s square footage, window orientation, insulation, and existing duct condition. No guesswork. A 2,000-square-foot two-story in Summerlin needs a different size than a single-story ranch in North Las Vegas.
- 3
Written price. Before any work begins, you get a fixed price on paper, including equipment, line set, pad, disconnect box, and any duct modifications. It does not change at the door.
- 4
Removal and installation. We pull the old unit, inspect the duct plenum for leaks, install the new Lennox system with the manufacturer’s recommended clearances, and pull a proper vacuum on the line set. We don’t skip the vacuum and call it a leak test.
- 5
Startup and test. We measure temperature split, refrigerant charge, and static pressure. If the numbers aren’t right, we don’t leave.
- 6
Cleanup and written guarantee. The job site is cleaner than we found it. You get the 365-Day Done Right Promise in writing before the tech pulls out of the driveway.

AfterWhat Lennox AC Installation Costs in Las Vegas
Here’s what we actually quote for Lennox systems in Las Vegas homes:
- Merit Series (ML14) 14 SEER single-stage – $3,500 – $4,800 installed
- Elite Series (EL18) 18 SEER two-stage – $5,200 – $6,600 installed
- Signature Series (XC21) 21 SEER variable-capacity – $6,800 – $7,500 installed
What moves the price: ductwork that needs sealing or replacement, a new electrical disconnect, copper line set length, and whether you’re adding an iComfort thermostat. A straight equipment swap on a home with good ducts lands at the low end. A full duct redesign in an older Las Vegas home pushes toward the high end. We also service Carrier and Trane, so if a Lennox isn’t right for your budget, we’ll show you honest alternatives. Call (725) 726-3813 for a free written estimate, no obligation.
Why Las Vegas Homeowners Call Cold Harbour Heating and Air Las Vegas for Lennox Work
We’ve been doing this since 2003 as an independently owned member of the Kingswell network, and the job hasn’t changed: show up in the window we promised, explain the work in plain English, and put the guarantee on paper. Every Lennox install we do includes a written price before work starts, a clean job site, and the 365-Day Done Right Promise. If something isn’t right within a year, we come back and correct it at no charge. No argument, no fine print.
Our technicians train on nine major residential brands, including Lennox, Carrier, and Trane, so the person at your door knows your system, not just a generic checklist. And when a Las Vegas evening hits 105 and your new system isn’t cooling right, you call and a person answers. Not a voicemail tree. A person. Tell me what it’s doing, and I’ll tell you what it costs, no guesswork, no runaround.
FAQs
Most Lennox installations take 3 to 7 days from your free estimate. A full system swap, including line set and electrical work, is a half-day job once we’re scheduled, but we don’t rush an install to hit a same-day promise. The price gets locked in writing, the date gets set, and we show up when we said we would. Call (725) 726-3813 for current scheduling.
No. As an independent Lennox service provider, our installs meet the manufacturer’s published installation specs, and we register the equipment for the full factory warranty on your behalf. The labor guarantee is ours: 365 days, in writing, no charge if something isn’t right.
If your Lennox is under 10 years old and the fix is under $650, repair usually makes sense. If the compressor is gone or the coil is leaking on a 12-plus-year-old system, you’re spending real money on a unit that’s already fighting the Las Vegas heat. We’ll show you the repair cost, the install cost, and let you decide. No pressure.
The Merit Series works fine if you’re on a tight budget and the home is well insulated. The Elite Series is the sweet spot for most Las Vegas homeowners, good efficiency without the Signature price tag. The Signature Series makes sense if you run the AC for 7-plus months a year and want the variable-capacity humidity and temperature control. We’ll show you all three prices in writing and let the house decide.
